Mid Elm Lofts

Dallas, Texas
Mid Elm Lofts project consists of three historical landmark buildings located at 1512, 1514 and 1516 Elm Street, which currently stand vacant and for the most part have been vacant for several decades. The projects rehabilitation will be a Certified Rehabilitation and take advantage of Federal Historic Investment Tax Credits and the State of Texas Tax Credit Program. In addition, Mid Elm Lofts project has received local incentives including TIF Funding and Property Tax Abatement.

The development plan calls for the complete restoration of the exterior of three buildings and rehabilitation and adaption of the building’s interiors to preserve the historical integrity and reflect the character of the early 1900’s in Dallas.

The rehabilitation and adaptive use will dramatically improve the 1500 Elm Street block and bring back a positive connection to the street with ground floor retail and loft live/work environments on the upper floors.
