Commons at Agora
Corinth, Texas
The City of Corinth contracted Architexas to design a park that would connect City Hall and a future mixed use development. In partnership with TBG and Quiddity, Architexas designed a signature park, including a boardwalk, playground, water feature, and stage building which allows for performances and movie nights on the lawn adjacent to the creek. The stage building’s butterfly roof incorporates a rain harvesting system that contributes to the site irrigation system. Classical elements such as columns and arches are thoughtfully designed with a contemporary take to acknowledge the City’s name. Commons at Agora creates a beautiful public open space for community gatherings and events.
