Faith Lutheran Church

Architexas provided site selection assistance and full architectural services for the development of a long range master plan for Faith Lutheran Church located in Flower Mound, Texas. The congregation had outgrown their existing facility and site and purchased 8 acres in the community. Architexas conducted a weekend programming and conceptual design “workshop” to establish the vision for the congregation’s future, which included determining and analyzing goals, facts, needs and design concepts. The program called for a new sanctuary that can seat 300 (expandable to 660), large narthex, fellowship hall, classrooms for Sunday school, administrative offices and a gymnasium. The site included a decentralized parking scheme and play fields. A strategic phasing plan was developed with Phase I including an expandable sanctuary, temporary narthex with classrooms and administration. Architexas provided full architectural services for Phase I construction, which was completed in the summer of 1996.
