Grapevine Liberty Park Plaza

Architexas provided architectural and urban design services for the restoration of the original Town Commons for the City of Grapevine. Plans for the park included restoring the park to its original dimensions and integrating the existing Torian Log Cabin, a large bell, and the surrounding landscape area.
The first phase in the development of the Plaza site was the reconstruction of the Wallis Hotel at the southern edge of the site with an adjacent stone plaza to the North with a central water feature recalling the original Grapevine springs. Plans also included native planting around the Torian Log Cabin to reflect Grapevine’s early history as a prairie town and a grape stake arbor supporting native Mustangs grapes, as well as period street scape elements. Mesa Design Group provided landscaping services.
