Grapevine VIN Hotel and Parking Structure

Grapevine, Texas

The Grapevine Main Parking Structure is a 210,000 SF mixed-use building containing retail, offices, and structured parking. It provides 554 parking spaces that are shared by the nearby TexRail commuter-rail station and the remainder of the Grapevine Main complex, a mixed-use development containing this parking structure, Hotel VIN, the Harvest Hall food hall, the Third Rail entertainment venue, city offices, and a large public plaza. The complex is located at the corner of Main Street and Dallas Road adjacent to both the Main Street Commercial Historic District and the Cotton Belt Railroad Historic District.

Architexas served as design architect for the entire Grapevine Main development, engaging in extensive historical research and meeting with the city council and city staff to develop the program and design for the buildings. The Italianate-inspired design of the complex references historic rail stations and railway hotels. While staying true to this style, the parking structure’s design is also influenced by Dallas Road’s industrial past and references turn-of-the-century warehouses and parking structures. It is clad in rich iron-spot brick with cream-colored cast stone accents.
