La Paloma Community

Stephenville, Texas
The city of Stephenville approved a planned development featuring 350 single-family rental homes in a gated community. Phase One of construction is set to begin in Spring 2025.

Architexas was hired to provide full architectural services for the homes in the Spanish Revival style, which will contain 297 one-, two-, and three-bedroom single-family homes, 53 two- and three-bedroom townhomes, along with 23 guest houses that will only be available to reserve by residents.

The La Paloma community will have a leasing center with co-working facilities and a clubhouse with a fitness center, pool, community room, mail center, and a bodega, offering residents ready-to-eat meals and essential groceries. The site contains pocket parks throughout the neighborhood blocks, a central lawn for picnics and gatherings, and 7.5 miles of trails for hikers and bikers.
The project focuses on sustainability with a priority on protecting the watershed. Landscape systems that filter storm-water runoff and rainwater harvesting will protect the water quality of the North Bosque River.
