Richardson City Hall and Municipal Campus

Architexas and Steinberg Hart partnered to complete a master plan in 2020 for the City of Richardson Civic Campus. The master plan included existing structure assessments of the Library and the existing City Hall, programming, and cost estimating. In 2022, the team was selected to provide full architectural services for the renovation of the existing Library, redevelopment of the municipal campus, and new construction of City Hall.
The design concept for the Richardson City Hall and Municipal Campus masterfully integrates the region’s rich landscape and historical elements, creating a space that reflects the natural and cultural heritage of Richardson, Texas. The new City Hall sits on axis with the existing historic library and iconic water fountain, honoring the history of the City of Richardson while looking towards the future.
