ARCHITEXAS Dallas is seeking a full-time Project Manager with historic preservation experience beginning immediately.

Job description

  • Lead development of design and technical aspects of architectural projects through construction documents and construction, including regulatory reviews.
  • Manage multiple small to medium size architectural projects including coordination of consultants, preparation of design and construction drawings and specifications, bidding, and construction administration.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in architecture required
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years experience working in an architectural firm.
  • Licensure preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency using Revit for drawing and drafting is required.
  • Competence in Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), MS Office and MS Project is a plus.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of design and construction document detailing.
  • Conscientious, detail oriented, desire to take on responsibility.
  • Excellent writing/communication skills.
  • Must be willing to attend site visits. Some travel out of town will be required.
  • Available for full time employment.

  • Proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD for drawing and drafting is required.
  • Competence in Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), MS Office and MS Project is a plus.
  • Experience in field measuring and accurately converting measured drawings into CAD drawings is required.
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of design and construction document detailing.
