Oak Cliff United Methodist Church

Architexas is restoring the historic Oak Cliff United Methodist Church into an adaptive use space containing apartments, live-work units, retail spaces, office suites, and coworking space. Despite being a historic landmark, the church faced potential destruction in 2021 under the demolition-by-neglect statute in Dallas’ development code due to its disrepair and a fire in January 2022. Architexas was brought in to conduct architectural and interior design work and to assist the project with national register nominations and federal and state historic preservation tax credits.
