Architexas will be exhibiting at the 2018 Texas College & University Facilities Conference (TCUF)  held in San Antonio, Texas from September 21st – 23rd. We invite you and your team to stop by Booth G20 to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how we can serve you and your University!

Our Senior Principals, Stan Graves and Larry Irsik, along with UT Austin Project Manager and Licensed Architect Tony Guzman, will be presenting a session on “Preserving Unique Campus Resources – the UT Experience”.

The University of Texas at Austin has a variety of unique historic resources on its campus. Everyone is familiar with the core ’40 acres’ so beautifully shaped by early architects – Cass Gilbert and later by Paul Cree. There are many unique resources, however, that contribute to the special character of the University. Structures such as the original Santa Rita Oil Rig or the building that housed General Armstrong Custer. This particular presentation will look at the preservation, restoration and continued academic use of several of the university’s landmarks. In particular, the Arno Nowotny Building and the 19th century complex of buildings known as the Winedale Historical Complex in Fayette County.

The session will be held on Friday, September 21st from 1pm to 2pm. We hope to see you there!
