Anne Stimmel, Architect and Baker, has been promoted to Senior Associate. Anne has served as Project Architect on a variety of firm projects including Factory Six03 in the historic West End District of Dallas and the rehabilitation of the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas sanctuary. Anne is currently leading the project team in the restoration of the historic Fannin County Courthouse in Bonham, Texas.
In honor of her recent promotion, we sat down with Anne for a quick Q&A….
Q: Where are you from?
A: Hurst
Q: Where did you go to school?
A: Texas A&M University
Q: Favorite Building in Dallas?
A: First Presbyterian Church of Dallas. It was one of my favorite projects of all time so it just makes me smile when I see the building.
Q: First thing you did when you arrived to the office this morning?
A: Got coffee
Q: Most interesting project you’ve worked on?
A: Dallas Municipal Building, also known as UNT Dallas College of Law
Q: Tacos or BBQ?
A: I refuse to answer this question…
Q: How many years have you been with Architexas?
A: Off and on for 11 years
Q: Hobbies?
A: I am an architect, there is no time for hobbies…just kidding! I love hanging out with my family and friends and baking. I know this contradicts the baking, but I also love researching clean eating and working out. Everything in moderation!
