“The Bishop Court Apartments and the intersection of Bryan Street and Peak Street, home of the Brannon Building and other commercial buildings built from the teens to the 1920’s, are some of my favorite historic places because they’re the vestiges of Dallas’ once extensive streetcar lines. They embody a time when the people of Dallas valued its urban fabric and built beautiful, dense homes and vibrant office and retail centers accessible by public transit.”
